Dr. Nouhoum S. Mounkoro: Bamako, Mali

Born in Kimparana, Mali, Dr. Mounkoro completed high school at the Lycée de Sikasso, Mali.

He obtained his Bachelors in Social Services from Oslo University College, Masters in Democracy Building from University of Bergen, and his PhD.; International Law and Jurisprudence from St. Petersburg University of Humanities. He served as International legal consultant in forced displacement, Welfare and Labour advisor, and as Housing policy advisor in Norway. He has also served as Humanitarian project consultant in Mali.

He currently serves as Assoc. Professor of Law at the University of Bamako in Mali.

Dr. Mounkoro is fluent in Bambara, Bomu, French, English, Russian and Norwegian.

He is married with children.
