The GDP Indigent Legal Aid (ILA)

- We seek and recruit volunteer attorneys and paralegals who can assist our indigent clients with pro bono legal services and representation to join our Volunteer Attorney Team.

- We raise funds from organizations and philanthropists to help defray costs of travel, accommodation and administrative fees, and to afford stipends when possible, for our volunteer attorneys engaged in client cases.

- We assist our indigent clients with funds when possible, in order to discourage coercive confessions or their coercive implication of innocent persons, due to poverty or ignorance of law.

- We afford senior law students opportunities to intern with our volunteer attorneys and paralegals.

To facilitate the travels and work of our Volunteer Attorneys on their cases, our LOFT Team helps to raise funds and to procure other materielle necessary for our VAT and their clients. We seek and desire your participation in our logistics and fundraising coordination efforts.
