The GDP Indigent Legal Aid (ILA)

Access to Competent Legal Representation and Due Process of Law

Our courts are an integral part of our communities. When they are alienated from members of the community, they tend toward the occult.

The proper and competent interpretation of laws and ventilation of charges and allegations among and against community members determine the democratic health of our nations and communities, and each member of the community for whom access to Due-Process of Law and proper and competent legal representation is proscribed, for any reason, our community health is diminished manifold.

ILA aims to add value to community health by ensuring that every member of the community has equal access to due process and competent representation.

Whom We serve: indigent defendants of our national organizations who are charged with capital, freedom of Expression, and freedom of association for Tradition (includes religion) and industry offenses.

ILA Volunteer Attorney Team

Volunteer Attorneys

- We seek and recruit volunteer attorneys and paralegals who can assist our indigent clients with pro bono legal services and representation to join our Volunteer Attorney Team.

- We raise funds from organizations and philanthropists to help defray costs of travel, accommodation and administrative fees, and to afford stipends when possible, for our volunteer attorneys engaged in client cases.

- We assist our indigent clients with funds when possible, in order to discourage coercive confessions or their coercive implication of innocent persons, due to poverty or ignorance of law.

- We afford senior law students opportunities to intern with our volunteer attorneys and paralegals.
