In honor of the late great Senator Edward Moore Kennedy of Massachusetts, USA.
The Institute is managed by a Resident Assistant Vice President and a Resident Medical Director to offer minor ophthalmic surgeries, training and certification in Ophthalmology Tech and Optometry, and eye health education.

The Institute is supported by:

The GDPMed Guest Surgeon, Guest Lecturer, and Guest Equipment Manufacturer Program (GSP/GLP/GEM)

And by: FONDINGMUSO Community Service Association for the Blind and Visually-impaired.

Students of the Institute become members of the Ophthalmology Club (OC), which operates the Lanceto Newsletter
